It is with great sadness that I am having to contemplate closing the market down. We have been running for 7 months and each month we get the same faces visit us but no new people.
We appreciate the support we get very much, but the numbers are too low to make it worthwhile attending for many of our regulars.
We are writing to the press this week to encourage them to help us publicise the event further, but unless you support us we will have to close down.
Please spread the word. The next market is on Sunday 2nd May. If numbers improve, then I will be able to attract some new stallholders so it will be better for all concerned.
Please support your local market.

Mothers Day Flowers from In The Garden
In the Garden where exhibiting yesterday at the Ingrave Community Market. Barbara had some beautiful potted arrangements on display, just perfect for mothers day.

The table had a wonderful spring feeling about it and was complimented by the beautiful sunshine we enjoyed.

Barbara still has a few arrangements available and would behappy for you to visit her in Ingrave to purchase your Mothers Day flowers and arrangements.
Please give her a call on 01277 811464 if you would like to pop by and pick up a lovely gift for your mum.

Look at these lovely Mothers Day treats
Well it's market day again tomorrow and I thought I'd show you a few of the scrumptious gifts that you can buy for your Mum if you come along. Mothers day is next weekend (14th March) so what better way of spoiling her than buying a handcrafted gift from one of our local community members.
A lovely handmade bag from Julie at Jez Designs

How about a beautiful 'Sweet Treats' handcrafted bracelet made by Kirsty at the Little Black Cat
Or a vintage teacup candle from Beautiful Things by Claire Mackaness

Thats just a small selection of what you can expect as we have 2 full halls of craft and produce stalls. The full list of stallholders is available to view HERE

We are back
Well Christmas is over and finally we are back to normal. The Ingrave Market returns this Sunday 7th Feb at a new time of 9.30am - 12.30am. We will be joined by Great Totham Bangers who will be selling their full range of sausages and my lovely husband will be cooking up a storm in the kitchen making sausage sandwiches made with their produce.
Why not come along to get your eggs, bread and organic veggies and whilst your there, enjoy the fabulous craft stalls and share a cup of tea and a sandwich with friends.

Rain didn't stop play
Well it was market day today and the rain decided to show it's face. Not just any old rain either but torrential rain! I sadly have to admit that we had nowhere near our usual amount of visitors, but the 70 or so we did have seemed to enjoy the stalls and had a cup of tea and a cake before heading off back into the rain again.

Even though some of the locals didn't make it we did receive a visit from a lady from Northampton who happened to be down in Essex staying with relatives. They however travelled to us all the way from Ilford after discovering our market on the Where Can We Go website.
This lovely picture was taken by Julie Morrisey. Looking through the cyclamen on Christine's plant stall to see a single solitary wet shopper entering the centre gates.
